From October to November, the Asia Pacific, Africa and Europe and Central Asia regional platforms will be held.

These are a key opportunity to tackle trans-boundary issues around disaster prevention and preparedness, provide leadership and direction, and propose relevant solutions to address disaster risk and to build the resilience of communities and nations.

Building on these, the Eighth session of the Global Platform for Disaster Risk Reduction (GP2025) will be held in June 2025.
